"Our experience with the EXELO2 fractional laser has been outstanding.
Several important characteristics distinguish this laser from other
CO2 lasers I have used:
-
Our
treatment protocol uses only topical anesthetic without
nerve blocks or oral narcotics. We were not able to
achieve this with the Fraxel Re:pair
-
Down time is short. Most patients are back to work in 3-5
days
-
There are no disposables, so per patient cost is
negligible
-
The
laser is fast and easy to operate"

"Asian skin types are usually
prone to developing Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
(PIH) after fractional treatments. In addition to reducing pain, use of an effective cooling
system during treatment also reduces the risk of PIH to a minimum. The EXELO2 has
been designed to accommodate a cooling device that can be connected directly to the
hand-piece. This ensures very precise cooling of the target area at a constant angle –
much more effective than cooling that is being administered by an assistant. Since I
have started using the cooling system I rarely see PIH in Korean patients anymore."
